JASON SIMMONS

Born in New York as the only child of a podiatrist surgeon and a trial attorney, Jason decided to step out of his family’s professional background and attend Penn State to study Egyptology. His hopes were to become a modern Indiana Jones! As a thank you gift for her years of support, Jason bought his mother a natural Marquise Pink Diamond when he was graduating from college. That small marquise cut gem made a big shift in Jason’s career path, igniting a passion for natural diamonds and fine jewelry design. He began working in New York City’s Diamond District in 2000, and branched out on his own as a premier diamond dealer and custom designer a decade later. He is happily married to Marni (also a custom designer and jewelry enthusiast), and together they have a daughter & son. His hobbies include playing jazz on the piano, cooking gourmet meals, and giving all the snuggles to his two sassy cats.
